Another excellent vlog, definitely my favourite vid of the trip so far in terms of vlogging. You captured ‘the vibe’ brilliantly and the approach you took on this one really felt like I was there with you. Yeah... all the cities in China are underrated. China itself is a number 1 and totally I underrated. You are not exaggerating, and I am not exaggerating as this is even more so as China moves so fast and changes by the minute...

Give rice noodle a go( chicken broth rice noodle with wide range of meat and mushrooms selection). It is a famous local cuisine.

IMO Beer Lao is one of the best beers in the region. The small landlocked country punches well above its weight in the brewing stakes. They do a 'Gold' and "Dark' version and a few others, including a 'rice' version.

9:31 Those are Tibetan lama, carrying out the Tibetan Buddhism rituals in the Buddhist temple... Could be a visiting pilgrimage lama group, because they were assisted by local Han Buddhist monks which can be seen at 9:54, you can see the difference in their outfits.

Just out of curiosity, are you doing the editing on the way or you have done traveling and editing at home? Because the weather is complicated in China right now I can’t tell the time through people’s dressing 😂😂😂 when people are wearing shorts in southern China, people in north are already wearing thick thick coats 😂

vloggers go to china and all eating street food or $1 noodle shops, should have a proper meal at a nice place once in a while. Even upscale or decent mid priced food in china is reasonably priced

Yunnan is a great city and able to access southeast asia by high speed railway! With low living cost and lot of food to choose..

Yunnan province is considered under development area, but a great place to see nature scenery and minority ethnic cultures. Enjoy your trip.

If I remember correctly, Google is not banned in China, they pull out of China because they were unwilling to comply with the regulations there. With an eSim from abroad Google can still be accessed (which I think was what you did).

Interesting to hear him say he'd translated a menu with Google Translate. Google' supposed to be banned in China and I'm going to Kunming next month. All I've read says that Google Translate won't work there. It seems it does?
