PRECISION: This is How I Cut Wood Like a Pro using a circular saw jig

This simple woodworking jig helps me to make very precise cuts with the circular saw. It is a very easy to make and to use DIY jig. I just have to align this circular saw jig with the cutting line to cut the wood exactly where we want it. Even, it is even easy to align if we have to cut the wood on the inside or outside of the cutting line. For example I can pre-cut the long wood strips with the jigsaw and then I can use use this cutting jig to precisely cut the pieces of wood to their final dimensions. I decided to make this circular saw jig years ago and you've surely seen me use it in my woodworking videos. Now in this woodworking remake I make a new version to use with my new disc saw.

I made one just like this, except it's 8' long. Great for making perfectly straight cuts on 4X8 sheets of plywood without struggling with it on a table saw.

For those saying speed square, when you cut with your speed square can you say for certain that you hold up a combination square and see 0 light coming through? The point of this video is for precision when you don't necessarily have a table saw, not for framing a house.
