I use both normal size picks and jazz picks, I use jazz picks for more precise picking, and my Ernie ball picks for more loose playing

I use Jazz III when playing stuff with pinch harmonics specifically for that reason. Dunlop Tortex red or orange otherwise.

I play bass I've been using Kirk Hammett jazz III picks on bass I have no complaints except the fact that they are odd to play with but they made my bass playing style feel more like David Ellefson tho
