Thanks for the lesson. This is George just elated on how you got the battery to work again. Sorry for destroying the button! Great video!

I would recommend that you verify how close each of the 10 parallel (pair) connected cells are in voltage. Each of those are being monitored by the logic board - and they can drift apart. The logic board will shut down charging when any one of the 10 gets to max voltage (4.1ish or so) - and on the flip side when the first pair drops below 2.75ish). If you see a pair that differs say by half volt or more charge that pair to match the rest. Now finding those 10 pairs of monitored points on the logic board was a bit of trial an error -but I did it on 2 different logic boards for the Ryobi 40V packs. Look for something around 4.1 (if fully charged) or something less. On a side note you don't want to attempt to charge the pack with a 40V power supply by bypassing the logic board until you have verified each each of the 10 pairs are in fact very close in voltage. You run the risk of over charging a pair that might have a higher voltage than the rest...that is one of the main purposes of that logic board - make sure that a cell does not get below 2.75 and above 4.2 (don't take those numbers to be exact - but should be ball park)...

The video is good, only it has the light behind the battery and it looks dark

Did the voltage at the positive and negative posts give a different voltage compared to the positive post and the ground ? .. mine does 13v on the positive and neg. post 31v at the positive and ground. Did you get 2 voltages also ?

Wish you would have had adequate light to demonstrate the fix.

Can’t see the board at all … not enough light
