The paranoia of having my privacy invaded isn't what bothers me. The US already spies on us so damn much. My question is, where do I go to join the class action suits against these companies that despite all the money we give them, can't protect our data?

I was in Ibiza, Spain for vacation recently. I noticed two people sat very close to me though there was plenty of seating in the lobby of a hotel. I had a strange feeling they were trying to tack my iPhone so I immediately shut it down and pretended to talk on my phone. When I did that, one person looked at the other person like, “what just happened?” I continued to pretend to talk on the phone and got up and left while laughing loudly. My comment may not be relative to this topic, but I want to share what happened to me.

I’m not worried about China, It’s my own government I’m concerned about.

I work in IT and I am worried about how many people are thinking too lightly about this topic. Grateful that a Black owned forum is helping to get the word out to the community. ❤

Oh yeah, let's have over 90% of cell phones made in China, and then not expect them to know how to hack it. This is why we need to start making our own stuff in America.

Time to go back to moving in silence. Most of us talk too much anyway. We put our business out there to the point that they don't have to look hard. 😂

reading the comments, i understand i’m not the only one getting those weird links sent to my phone, random numbers texting or calling, and feeling like they’re actively hacking into the phone camera! i am glad we are all discussing this topic & not staying silent about this borderline harassment!
