Is the glass part heavy enough to straighten a 300-350 page book? I think the more pages the book has the more weight is needed to push the pages down. maybe some extra dummy weight on the construction would solve it?

No expensive camera but phones cost more than camera you can fit in woman purse wouldn’t it be faster if you got dslr camera under 100. Take pictures of book all you need put memory card in computer there you have cellphones you need open program proof read then combine there could be better way modify this take pictures both sides book save more time great idea if you have time and tools make one
