Windows 10 New Start menu rant and observations March 6th 2020

Yes. I understood that the icons would be in a tile on the start menu, but when you drag the new icons on the desktop, they are still in square tiles! I thought they would be more like the new Microsoft Edge browser. It's in a square tile in the start menu but it is just the icon on the desktop - how I think they all should be! Inconsistency! lol

XP, people! Go look at what the interface looked like and how it worked and the logic behind it all. It made sense and helped us use the computer. 7, 8, 10... the progression has been continued diluting of meaning and logic and increased difficulty for us to use the machine, while massively developing useless, meaningless bloat that makes everything more difficult for the user and child's play for Mister Gates and Co to siphon our info and track our every move "live". I have disabled or uninstalled all those stupid "live tiles" and "apps" as possible. It's so revealing that we can't remove Cortana or even kill the stupid process!

Hej I agree with you the new or the maybe upcoming new start menu in Windows 10 is no change, just a polished surface with new icons. And personally I do not like the new icons or the so-called new start menu because there is no change. Thankfully there is software like classic shell or start 8 which allows, you to customize the start menu in Windows 10 more with themes and colors. But now I don't use Windows 10 that much anymore but have almost completely switched to my mobile phone. But when I want a computer experience you have Dex connect keyboard and mouse to a monitor or a tv set. Just one problem with Dex it doesn't work on all mobile phones but as i see it i think windows 10 as it looks and works today is not the future take care and have a nice weekend.

Most past start menu's look better except for 8. This is a case of dumbing down the menu. Blue...booo!
