Just wanted to add a THANK YOU. Surface Pro 2017 with almost no use went into the loop and I was convinced it was scrap. My SP4 was not loading files from USB because I copy pasted the entire extracted zip folder into the USB. The issue was resolved when I only copied file of the extracted folder. The system was not detecting boot files because they were inside the folder.

I purchased a used surface pro 4 today.

For my surface go tablet, i did exactly this. Got to the point of doing everything in this video correctly, thought that i fixed the issue and as soon as i turned on my tablet, it said that there was still no bootable device. At this point i think i might just sell the tablet to someone for parts and get a new one, thanks for the video, it did help. But not for my tablet

Hi guys! I met this issue then searched on youtube how to fix it and i found this video. I've read all the comments here. I had a problem too at the last step.
"there was a problem or sth when recovering your PC".
I had no idea. Then i chose "cancel" then "turn your Pc off". But i couldnt give up so i powered it on again. I didn't remember exactly but i might do it one or twice. Then. So surprised and happy cause it worked. Omg.

Hope all of you who met the same issue can recover it successfully.

Thanks i was holding on to it about to trash it, TIP*: for all the next ones trying this do not download the recovery right away make sure you enter product serial number !!! thsat is the way it works

on the top right of the BIOS you can see the reason or, what made it go to BIOS. If you went to the bios with buttons, you will see the buttons. If you see a HDD then it means it could not boot because corrupted installation or does not have an OS installed

Hi first off, awesome video, I downloaded the recovery image for my Surface Pro (5th Gen) - 256GB i7 8GB M1796 - Windows 10 Pro Version 1903..however when I went to Recover from a drive "there was a problem recovering from pc, any thoughts?
