Is My Membrane The Right Way Up?

Can you tell which way up your membrane should be?

Technically speaking there is no right or wrong way up, the EPDM membrane does the same job either way up, however you will see manufacturers writing on one side only, every 3 meters or so.

If your membrane is visible from a widow you can simply fit the rubber writing-side-down.

Please do a video on how to attach posts for a railing to a rubber roof I can't find a proper tutorial for that anywhere. I also have a roof that drains down to my balcony roof can you show me how far up to run the rubber up under my shingles and behind the siding of my outer wall thanks :)

As you said, if it shows aesthetically where is can be seen it should be writing down(otherwise not an issue) - ours has been fitted with the writing on the upstand of our roof lantern :(
Is there anything the writing can be coated with to hide it? Or does it need to be replaced?
