As usual Cynic is providing us again, innovation and a different perspective in terms of composition, lyrical approach and musicianship... at the same time, without loosing its essence the band recaptures the magical sound of what it seems to be Sean Malone on bass and the ever evolving vocal work of Paul Masvidal plus the eclectic drumming patterns of the great Sean Reinert ... thank you again guys for being unique and compromised with what you feel and not being ruled by the media or the music business. I'm not feeling the riffs too much on this particular track.  Love the rhythm section, though.  Also the guitar solo and heavy drum passage in the middle.  And awesome visuals on the video, though some of the lyrics have me scratching my head.

I love Cynic, I think that Traced in air is one of the best albums i've ever heard. But where's the essence of Cynic on this¿ Where's the jazzy metal fusion soul? I'm sorry, i'm trying, listening again, and again, and i must say that i don´t like it...a big lost for me.
