Foreigner Suite is amazing, way ahead of it's time! Yusuf/Cat Stevens is a musical genius. I forgot how amazing this piece of music is. It is an amazingly powerful and passionate love story. I'm sure Foreigner Suite was the "precursor" to many other sweeping musical compositions. It's likely that Axl Rose found inspiration in Cat Steven's passionate musical love epic when he went to create "November Rain". (another incredible musical composition) I can't understand why the Cat Stevens album "Foreigner" did not get the critics love. It must have been because it was so far ahead of it's time.

I love love love this song! It was my comforting song when I broke up with my first love! There never really was closure, but now I understand why we didn’t make it. We both needed to find someone who would live us for who we really were, not just for appearances. Images meant more than reality. Whatever people said about us mattered more than what we said to each other. I miss his soulful kissing! But it’s better to remember the good times than to have that messed with in time. I bought the album in Dublin city in 1975 and never stopped listening to it. It’s a kinda private or secretive album of Cats that only few people seem to know. To me it’s the greatest and one of my all favorite ever. It’s amazing, powerful, touching you deep inside, making you travel, shiver, cry, love... a real gem. I recommend it to my very close friends, especially one in Norway
