More and more people talk about Ayahuasca. But what is Ayahuasca? And how does Ayahuasca work? It has been used for thousands of years so there are lot of myths about this substance
Many people talk about life-changing experiences
Celebrities and influential entrepreneurs are drinking Ayahuasca.
But what is really behind it?

Therefore, you will find in the video the answer to "What is Ayahuasca"!

Ayahuasca explained: It is one of the most powerful psychoactive substances in the world with 2 different ingredients, Chacruna (Psychotria viridis), which contains DMT and is released in the greatest quantities at birth and at death. The body breaks down DMT very quickly. The other plant is Caapi which contains MAO inhibitors to prevent DMT from being broken down quickly.

There are different legends how the indigenous peoples came to mix these 2 plants.

1. Came to the shaman in a dream to do it
2. The jaguar eats both plants, and is the king of the jungle.

What is Ayahuasca from an indigenous POV (point of view)?
Medicine which is drunk with the purpose of healing in the holistic sense
- Physical, mental, spiritual
- Better relationship with oneself, return to the original state
- Connecting with nature

There are also many tribes that do not want ayahuasca to leave the jungle because they fear that the western world will destroy and exploit the plant, which is also happening in many parts of the world.
Other indigenous peoples, however, follow a prophecy that says the world will need the medicine of indigenous peoples to heal itself.

Ayahuasca is seen as a Grandmother and is a Master Plant
Master Plant because it knows exactly what is best for you.
What you need to take the next step in your life.

What is Ayahuasca from a western point of view?
In many cases it is classified as a drug because it contains DMT.
Ayahuasca can be dangerous, if it is not used according to the tradition, with preexisting medical conditions…
Drinking alone, or with people who don't have the necessary training/understanding of the plant can backfire on the experience.

What is ayahuasca like for me?
A way to experience more awareness in my life.
Becoming aware of different processes within me.
Most of the time we are on autopilot, not even checking why we are doing what we are doing.
Living what society tells us to live, or what our parents or other people expect us to do.
Become aware of the patterns that dictate our lives, let them go and make room for growth.
The personal growth is phenomenal, but more about that in another video.
