Pandemic cracked my brain open. I had never heard a Mac Miller song until after he had passed. Swimming and circles became my lifeline, or maybe it was just a flare. I'm getting help now. Yesterday it appears I've been dealing with decades of trauma I was seemingly unaware of. It's hard.

A bit over a year and a half ago my gf and I broke up and I spiraled into a pretty deep depression that lasted until just recently. During this time I found Mac and loved this song in particular, I would constantly listen to it and think of my ex. Something felt off though, I didn’t feel in the same position as Mac here even though I was also going through heartbreak, but if felt so relatable. Only just now after hearing it from a female voice did I realize the reason this song stuck with me is because I feel like I’m in the position of the person being sung to; instead of being from me to my ex the situation was the opposite, where these are all things she would’ve said to me just before our breakup. Thank you for making this, truly an amazing voice you’ve got
