MINI Window Won't Open - Try This

Sometimes my window in my MINI does not open with I press the switch. When this happens, the window also doesn't go up or down when closing/opening the door. I found a little trick to possibly help you open the window when you're in a pinch. It works for me 60% of the time, every time, jk it's actually 100% of the time. If your window is not working or only works intermittently, you should replace the window regulator. Your car might not pass inspection if the window doesn't open, depending on your state's laws. Also, your window working properly is a safety factor. It should open in case there is an emergency where you need fresh air or need to escape the car quickly. Wow thanks mate worked amazingly on both windows. My mini windows are VERY weather temperamental in fact the passenger one hasn’t opened for 3 years & I paid a garage to fix it once!! Cheers again 👍👏👏

I tried this yesterday as there's a diffrent vid on u tube saying a similar thing. Heard that nosie it makes but my window didn't go down drivers side. I will bang it now in the spot u did and do the thing with the switch. Thank you for showing this in more detail. 🤞🤞

I want to get an R53 as my next daily but as someone who can't fix their own car all these inevitable repairs are looking to cost be nearly the price of the car itself.. so scary. Maybe I need to put myself into a corolla and hope it's as bullet proof as people say haha
