Best trumpeted National Anthem ever!  Chris Botti's tone is so smooth, mellow and gorgeous!  It was absolutely beautiful with the mellow piano taped back music.  I think everyone watching had to stop what they were doing and just listen.  I know I was crying with Reggie as well.

I think hearing the National Anthem played this way is like hearing Taps at a funeral. Very hard to hold back tears and very emotional.

Very classy performance by a classy man. Our national anthem is a beautiful piece of music and hearing someone play it so gracefully with pride is very moving. Reggie Wayne's response to this is quite touching.

I well up inside every time I sing the National Anthem at a game so with this music to go with  The words are exceptionally powerful if you can envision the scene as it is told in the story; the story of the survival of OUR people, our flag, and our fledgling nation that night.  I'm there with you brother.

Honestly thought it was a horn the first time I heard the audio, you must be damn good to make a trumpet sound like that!

While he is a very talented musician, and I was impressed with his skill. I do have one glaring complaint.

It's our national anthem please play it how it was written...
