Marlon McCree lays out Reggie Wayne. I felt this needed to be reuploaded. I ripped the clip from someone else's video of NFL hits and replaced the music.

This beautiful play would be called 'unnecessary roughness' in today's NFL probably. SMH

My favourite part of this video is the last replay. It really highlights the accuracy of the throw, right between two DBs. Any shorter and the CB could have got a hand to it, any further and the safety could have gotten to it. Good hit to break up the pass though. Would be a penalty today, unfortunately.

Chargers own Peyton and I'm a Pats fan. We own Peyton too.

The league would call that a penalty now....they are trying to make a violent sport safe...the people who are doing this have never stepped on a football field...it's getting ridiculous.

If this happened today, there would have been a flag thrown just because hard hits are only allowed to be thrown BY the offensive players. Defensive backs and linebackers are no longer allowed to hit hard.
