Looks great, I was going to buy the hip dac 2 gold edition but I'm glad I waited out, besides the gold color looked a bit tacky. This looks more subtle, more elegant I like it.

Thank you for upgrading this to USB C. Overall it’s a good upgrade, especially because of iematch, but would have liked bluetooth support too. That missing feature was the first thing that I noticed. Due to the current state of MQA it seems like you should start omitting support for MQA on new products and put in a bluetooth module instead into the hip dac 4 as several comments have requested. The xspace feature here would be nice too but would still want bluetooth support first if I had to choose between the two for some reason. Also adding iematch to the next Go Blu is very needed too. Otherwise keep up the good work!

Can you describe sound signature differences between hip-dac 3, hip-dac 2, and first hip-dac? Their bass boost works similarly? Add similar bass quantity or one more than the other? Interested to know that too.

Nice improvements and switch to double type c is amazing sadly the inclusion on MQA will bump up the price without including bluetooth. I understand why certain features are included or missed out but this can lead to alienating a large portion of a potential market.

does the Hip Dac 3 changes (upscales) the audio stream that it receives from the connected Smartphone or does it play the files exactly as they are?

How about friends, a question, I have been wanting to buy the Hip Dac 2 for some time, but unfortunately it is very scarce on most pages or it is at too high a price, I just saw that this new version came out (Hip Dac 3), what version? Should I buy Hip Dac 2 or Hip Dac 3?

What is "increased" frequency response ??? That is incorrect English. Unless it is meant the curve is extended on the outer ends. I think this should be an "improved" frequency response !!

I’m brand new to this stuff. Everyone rallies around the AudioQuest stuff. I’m not on that train. Please tell me which of your products you recommend for premium audio quality streaming to my car. This isn’t for headphones. I’ll be running Sirius/XM and Tidal from my iPhone 14 Pro Max through a 3.5mm straight to my car.
