This nearly looks as though it ticks all the right boxes as a 'strap-to-your-phone-most of the time' DAC.

The features that would complete this would be:
- Mag-safe or similar attachability (I have a magsafe sticker on my phone case as I have an android phone)
- Central USB-C for connection to the source (to allow a 180o USB-C connector (instead of a cable) to connect to reduce damage to the USB-C port on the phone
- Power USB-C port moved to the side to also charge the phone (PD / fast charging etc)
(powerbank functionality not really needed - to prolong the life of the DAC battery and keeping DAC / Phone batteries independent - but could be a switch for emergency use)
- Power On switch to disable headphones, but power to still charge the phone.
(if a call comes through, quick to swap back to phone audio / mic)

I am still struggling to find the perfect phone+DAC setup - as there is a lot of plugging/unplugging or damage to ports when the phone is in my pocket if I am walking etc.

Since there are no local dealers in my area, what and how much is the improvement from the Hip-Dac 1? I have had the hip dac1 since its release and wondering what improvement I will get if I decide to upgrade.

My go blu has both xbass and xspace does this not have x space? What is the db boost gain difference between xbass on both? I think 10db is sub boost was normal for hip Dac 2 what is in on hip Dac 3 ?

Wow, Ifi. Good thing blind people don't need setup instructions isn't it? For this blind person, this is about as helpful as watching an eclipse. Good work! Next time put some actual spoken instructions please. :)
