Fashion that focuses on craftsmanship is definitely my preference.

I'm all about craftsmanship, quality materials, tactile quality, tailoring...

back to craftsmanship, of course. I've also grown tired of the oversized trend and am craving feminine silhouettes

Several years ago I was very intrigued by Ukrainian designer Ksenia Schnaider's "Glitch" collection, which featured prints of traditional Ukrainian _vyshyvanka_ patterns, digitized, magnified, and glitched to slightly alter the strict geometry of the patterns. The garments were made of mostly natural fibers in minimal styles. It was the best of both concepts, IMO. Thanks for posting!

Outstanding! Justine....you articulate complex issues so well. Thank you for YOUR BRILLANCE in these dark times

These cracks are why I've always emphasized personal style over fashion. No need to worry about what direction to follow :)

I love to make and mend my own clothes, and absolutely fall in love with hand loomed fabrics—so craftsmanship is really important to me and my aesthetic.

As an overall societal movement, I’m starting to shift to wanting less technology. I am older (mid-40’s) and remember a time before the internet; and I think in a lot of ways we were better off.

Ooh I hope this is a foreshadowing of an upcoming video topic! Very interested in your takes on this observation! (I'm team old-school for sure-but want that executed with environmental awareness going forward!).

Looking forward to hearing your insight. I think I would lean towards the traditional world, but maybe that's partly my age. As a 50 year old I can remember a pre digital world, and whilst there are huge benefits from digital, I do miss some things from the simpler days.

I can’t think past your hair! I didn’t know you had gone lighter, it’s a lovely colour.

Definitely craftsmanship. Great observation!

I’m with craftsmanship every time, especially in light of some of the problems caused by digital imagery and the emphasis on looking ‘perfect’. Just my opinion, of course. ❤

Ever since I found out I was a Kibbe Soft Classic I steer away from trends and still manage to look trendy 🤷🏻‍♀️. I dabble in trend colors only if they suit me and use in accessories or minor details. Trends imo are overrated.

I value both because they are both manifestations of human art/consciousness/expression. I think they are both important because humanity is not one or the other, but both.

I prefer quality and comfort, and I'm glad that it can also look good

To digress from your topic: I love your hair colour, it suits you well!

Good point, Justine! Fashion should be functional and tactile in my opinion
