T'au eating a completely unjustified nerf as collateral damage for a different faction's broken combo is a freaking tradition at this point.

The sisters changes also screwed up a bunch of stuff that needs to be FAQ'd, and they also left in conflicting and useless FAQs as well...

I thought it was absolutely hilarious and typical of GW to buff screamer melee, but forget about the two other tzeentch daemon models with that exact same weapon profile (including the model that literally leads screamers). So now screamers are running around hitting on 3s with anti-vehicle 4+, and their 95 pt leader is just sitting there unable to hit or wound anything himself.

The Sisters change still just boggles my mind. If their motivations to changes are to balance win rates, then the Sisters were doing just fine, comfortably "mid". It just seemed punitive without thought.

They are inexplicably awful at balancing. They'll hit armies with 49-50% win rates with a bunch of nerfs. They'll leave characters hilariously under priced while never buffing the value of unused things within the same army. They'll release some absolutely awful codex rules and balance that takes multiple balance dataslates to fix (if they ever fix them). They'll nerf things like Gladius, which is probably deserved, but then not compensate those chapters that aren't doing so well but relied on it. The flyer thing is laughable.

I'm not going to sit here and say I have all the balance answers, but my god, it can't be as hard as they're making it look.

That halfway through this edition, it still feels like a paid beta test. It doesn't feel like GW test their rules at all before releasing them, which wouldn't be that bad if the rules were free, but paying for rules that are often patched before the book is even in your hands really feels like financial abuse.

Sisters, World Eaters and Tau all have one thing in common

Taking harsh and unneeded nerfs in response to small problems

Whenever GW sees us Drukhari players give some love to one specific unit, they up the points cost and make it a lot less preferable. They seem to forget that we only have 24 datasheets though, most of which are at around 100 points, so if option A is bad that automatically makes option B good.

Pretty big miss for Tsons not having the "on the table" clause removed from Cabal Point generation yet again. You know, the thing we've been asking GW to fix for 18 months so that we can actually use Transports and Reserves effectively like every other army in 40k.

Poor sisters man. I harp a lot about my salamanders still struggling but what they did to sisters was just criminal

For Necrons, I think Starshatter Arsenal needs a specific nerf. I fear that points changes alone will ruin the other detachments at its expense

Sisters got absolutely shafted for no apparent reason whatsoever. Completely overshot the mark by such a preposterous margin. By FAR the worst slip up GW have made since the state of Eldar ( and to some extent GSC) at release.

The refusal to allow flyers or to modify them to make them usable is my biggest frustration as someone with multiple flyers. I have not met anyone in casual or in competitive scenes reporting flyers are "oppressive" this edition.

Both Sisters and Imperial Guard have been nerfed strictly due to tournament performance as opposed to overall win rate.

The german ruleset is just plastered with mistakes. Biggest example: oath of moment let you reroll the wound (not hit) roll.
It’s so sad that they didn’t bother to let someone just fact checked their writing.

I swear Tau getting no changes AT ALL during the entirety of 10th, only to end up with a dysfunctional enhancement, nerfed stratagems and also an unnervingly small number of detachments, which all (bar the Grotmas one) don't work for all units, let alone every round of a game, just kinda irks me...

I know they are STILL doing fine but man, give us SOMETHING.

I feel the Drukhari nerfs were pretty unjustified and also hitting the daction quite oddly, as it is a faction that can struggle a lot against particularly monster-heavy armies and already have very few tools to counter these with, so nerfing the Void Raven and Scourges at the same time was a bit of a double-whammy. It's not as if you have a lot of tools to deal with such things as the army has a lot of low-strength weapons with anti-infantry all over the place.

Some arimes also have very few datasheets so you will almost by definition see multiples of some units, without that meaning they are too good...

Screamers getting better weapon skill and anti-tank/anti-monster, yet the two screamer chariots still hit on 4's with no anti-attacks. Seems like an oversight.

Could they please just give the Agents a tank? I mean the Rogue Trader had Leman Russ’s just let them use those.

Desolation Squads still cost 200 points for 5 guys who have the one Krak/Fragmentation options that are split into 2 weapons for some reason.
