We used to stock some of the best pin vises, hobby knives, etc... right alongside the Citadel junk and for a quarter of the price. The Citadel garbage outsold the quality tools by about five to one even with our staff instructed to dissuade customers from buying junk.

I never understood it. Especially that horrible flamer-styled paintbrush. That thing was pure trash we stocked only because it was a required item.

I preordered shadow vault’s. It might not be the best box, but I like both teams somewhat, and I liked itd terrain. I personally I play bigger games (3player, 4 player) So some extra itd terrain is cool with me. I just hope they give us a little breathing room before we get soul-shackle.

Same thoughts on almost everything in the pre-orders this week. Shadowvaults is a must for me; it is exactly what I was expecting (duplicate terrain) with some new narrative options. The cards were borderline for me on theme but price pushes them away. If they contained scenarios printed on the cards or setup rules, I'd say they'd be winners. Just a thought for those more photoshop savvy than me.

Just finished cleaning up my ItD terrain and I must have got one of the 'good' sets because my terrain fit together nice and snug. Gave a couple of *slightly* tight pieces a tiny file until they were perfect, but had no problems at all like I've seen on other videos on YouTube 👍 So yeah, some sets are better than others somehow, I can vouch for that.

I preordered the Titanicus supplement. It's a soft-cover book, and only 56 pages, so anything more than what they charged would be too much. Still a useful book. Some of the narrative play options look fin, and the section with the rules and point costs for weapons is nice to have.
As for Kill Team, I'm going to wait until the teams are available separately. I think I'm done with big boxes for a while.

The different Deathmark heads provide special abilities, not sure what the Warrden/Immortal Character does... apparently you are allowed to take other Crypteks ecept for the Plasmancer...

I did manage to work a bit extra and secure some Warhammer money! ✊️ I considered the Land Raider Proteus last week, but I'm afraid it's gonna look derpy compared to the Spartan. These latest pre-orders aren't anything I can use, unfortunately. I've been giving my money to the Troll Trader and getting some awesome deals.
