I am currently a trainee in YG entertainment. I’ve been training for about 2 years. JYP judges were pretty rude because that’s where I auditioned before. I was born in Australia 🇦🇺 and I’ve been learning Korean for 7-8 years! I’m not fluent in Korean but I understand everything in Korea when I’m going out.
My father is from Korea, and my mother is from New Zealand.

I'm sooo passionate because Korean music is what brought me comfort. Like... I already wanted to be a singer from a young age because I loved singing ever since I was 2 and I also loved the meaning of songs. I like K-Pop because of the meanings behind MVs and how poetic the translation is or even the deeper meanings. I would've tried to become an artist in the West but I'm not really suited to doing solo work. And I found it a bonus that you could train in dance, singing, rapping and acting (all of which have been childhood dreams).

It's like I found another reason to be a singer. I want to be an artist because I want to give comfort to others through music or make someone feel some sort of way. It's not being a doctor or surgeon of course but isn't music powerful enough to mend a broken heart or mind?

I tried explaining my passion to my mum but it's like she didn't hear the reason only the fact that it's what I want to do. I'm pretty sure I was almost disowned lmao. I've really tried to let go of this but my heart and mind is set on it.

What should I do? 😭

Oh and another bonus for me is that as a foreigner, I'd be inspiring others.

At the age of 12 ( even now also I'm 12 ) i give audition for yg company and they even accepted me even i got an email also to come to Korea but i don't have those confidence to tell my parents about that and i cancel the email cuz my parents want me to go in studies category but they never asked me what i have to become i wish my parents could understand me 😞

I feel that my mom would be disappointed in me if I were to audition. I’m young and have a very good voice, average dance, amazing rap, and facial expressions. I feel my mom would be very mad or think this is all stupid and tell me to join an American girl group. But I like Korean way more. I really want to audition, but I also don’t want to spend my life making songs in a group because I would be a disappointment, the other jobs I wanted to work as was maybe a detective, judge, or singer

I have to practice rapping as well, do you think rapping at a speed of for example Lisa's post chorus in Shut Down or Soyeon's part in Tomboy?
I'm planning to audition to either JYPE or Hybe (if they will have any auditions)
