I don't really know which Steam you're supposed to put to Real Time in the Task Manager, as i have Steam x1 ; SteamService x1 ; SteamWebHelper x6, do you know which one i should put? Or should i just put them all to Real Time?

Ive been watching over 100 videos about this just this week.. and im SEVERLY DISSAPOINTED. Nothing has changed. Im stil at 4 to 8 mbps

Be careful y'all! This guy should've included the fact that clearing download cache *WILL ERASE* your current download progress back to 0.

My download always starts at 3-400 mb then goes down to 0-10 mb its stupid and its only some games

Be careful when clearing download cache because if you do it while the games downloading. When you reopen steam. You will find that you lost all your download progress.

I uninstalled Steam from my older SSD and installed it on a newer SSD. This did it for me.

There is a Win 10 & 11 bug that limits download and upload. This is what worked for me. I spent hours researching what to do, and just copy and paste this in command prompt one line at a time, and it WILL fix it if you had the same windows bug that I had. (You might have to enter it again after a couple updates. Apparently windows still doesn’t realize it yet…)
NETWORK FIX Win 10 & 11
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew and press Enter. (This will stall for a moment.)
netsh int ip reset and press Enter. (Don't restart yet.)
netsh winsock reset
netsh interface tcp show global
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal

i pay for 500mb/s thru spectrum. spectrum website speed test shows 530mb/s while the standard windows speed test shows about 280mb/s. yet my steam downloads will spike up to about 40mb/s every few seconds while sitting at 0mb/s otherwise. any help???
