BFV’s remote controlled mini nuke is the most devastating explosion I’ve ever seen. You literally feel it. Plus the whirling propeller sound it makes before it strikes down right chilling

This isn't levolution, it's just destruction. Levolution would be like BF4 Flood Zone where you can flood the map, or Siege of Shanghai where the tower collapses drastically changing how the rest of the match it played. That being said, nice comparison video though. BFV's destruction feels better and imo.

It both look and sound much better in BFV, it's got a heavier sound to it and you can almost feel it ;)

BFV is the clear winner.

The explosion in V lights up the surrounding environment and smoke. If you watch it on 0.25x speed, you can see the spherical shockwave distort the air as it ripples outward and toward you, then you hear the explosion. What an impressive detail.

The 2042 explosion looks like someone got one of those free explosion templates and slapped it on a video and used cardboard/Styrofoam as debris, then tried to just cover it up using lots of smoke effects. The puff of gas reaches you before the sound does, which doesn't make any sense.

Prefer the BF2042 explosion but hate that the sun just keeps beaming through the black smoke. BFV is still prettier ... the way the shadows are cast on the ground from sun behind the black smoke is just beautiful.

Little fun fact, they are above properly made. In much cooler regions the explosion is more reddish and smoky and in the hotter region, the fireball is less compact and the heat spread the explosion heat very fast.. so both realistic :)

I think that the actual visual effects on explosions, smoke and bullet impacts etc are all phenomanal in battlefield 2042, but somehow battlefield V still just managed to make that all seem more... Chaotic.

Bf5 is better, I find that the fire in bf2042 looks low resolution even at 4K max settings.

As much as ppl hated on bf5 even tho it didnt had levelution to proper say the sence of scale was insane sometime it was outer chaos from the artillery strike, the mini nuke that had a shock wave that would send you flying and in my opinion the only bf game where lmg are truly terryfing but being balanced at the same time

the day battlefield players play interested in the game and not in camp, that day anything related to another battlefield other than 4 will seem interesting to me.
