maybe its just beta, but the overall atmosphere feels empty, lacking sound effects and the feel of being in a battlefield

You forgot to show the mud clinging to clothes when prone for a bit, the lack of prone on side/back, as well as being able to wash the mud off your clothes when you take a dip in the water. Also the crouch sprint, which was probably made BFV stand out the most to me. Revive animations as well would have been nice.

BF2042 has some nice new things, but it feels like the B-team worked on it for some reason and tried to make it Warzone.

I feel like the destruction is a bit lacking on 2042, I hope to see a map with more houses so we can actually see if it's really that lacking. Also details like the tank getting muddy is so much better in BFV. BFV is stunning when it comes to attention to detail and graphics overall, gameplay wise is a whole other conversation…

Besides some performance optimizations, I think that 2042 is gonna be a solid game though.

tbh battlefieldV gun gameplay feels better, for some reason i cant like battlefield 2042 gameplay.

The character movement animations and watching other players moving around in bf2042 just looks like such a massive downgrade from bfv

Battlefield V is stunning.. It's sad to see the devs abandon it like they did ... I still play it daily anyway ...

I feel like battlefield v still edges it. That’s my bias as I like world war shooters more than futuristic type shooters

For me BF 2042 feels rushed, graphics are worse than 5, the details too, they even scrape out the animation of getting into a vehicle, the weapons, recoil and sounds feels like Im playing Call Of Duty, the hud is disastrous and the specialist are by far worst than the old classes.
Im super disappointed so far and I dont think they would change too much after the beta since there's only 1 month left till the launch, but Im sure of one thing: They will promise to improve the game in future updates just like BFV then after 1 year of updates the game will be decent enough to be called: ''Battlefield''.
Also Portals... its just pure fanservice, I dont feel any soul in that gamemode, they created it as an insurance in case the community doesnt like the other two modes.

The only thing that has realy improve in battlefield 2042 is the smoke effects it's on whole another level than the rest of series

TFW the jets in BF2042 are making vapor cones even though it flies slower and the roll and pitch have a slower rate than a propeller plane from WW2.

Why can't they just make bf2042 just more.. gritty? It would improve the atmosphere of the game and the graphics - I don't feel like I'm in war when the sun is shining, there's a cool ocean breeze, and saturation colors are turnt to 11

Things i don't like about BF2042 so far: HUD&UI, movements feels and looks shit and cluncky, guns has no soul, no recoil, sound design is a donwgrade, looks like a F2P game.
