Pokemon Repro Cartridges off Ebay!!!

This is a review of some reproduction carts i bought off ebay. I got them for about 23 bucks which is unreal.

This class A carts work great. The original ones go for crazy prices. People treat them like gold for crying out loud...

These repros will also work if you want to transfer your saved file into an original cart one day.

Ive been playing these on emulators but using a touch screen just doesnt feel right. This seems like a good option

They all use flash save. All time based events and trading should function properly (within the same region) for example leaf green to fire red, ruby sapphire to emerald .

They also contain a rumored 64 megabits which is roughly half of an original. So i wouldn't try to complete the dex. Honestly not entirely sure.

Some people get non functioning ones . It happens from time to time.

Even the best repros will crash and freeze sometimes. So save every 2-5 minutes.

Any follow up about how they held up can you replay the elite4 after you pass the game

Well as long as the reproduction versions work, hey I’m game! 😊 as long as I can play them yeah. I have Pokémon fire red and emerald and I just found out that their reproduction copy’s and they work fine to me. And I’m trying to get my hands on Pokémon platinum soul silver and Pokémon black as well as ranger and mystery dungeon for my ds but their expensive though!. So those must be legit copy’s since Pokémon games are very popular and worth something and I got my copy’s of fire red and emerald years ago emerald was the first and red as 3 years after in 2016! I remember that I just can’t remember the prices for them but they weren’t that expensive so that would probably mean their reproduction copies of them but as along as they work I’m guessing their okay to play They may have flaws or something let me know what you guys think but anyways cool video buy the way and I give it a good like!. 😊👍 if you get the ds versions you may as well do a review on those as well?!

The really cool thing about repro carts is that you can reflash them with a nintendo DS to put any game you want in them, only downsides are that you have to patch the games so they use SRAM and solder a battery into the pcb yourself.

ALSO I'm really surprised your repro ruby doesn't show the "The game can be played" message at the beginning 🤔

€190.00 for a used pearl cartridge wich is also damaged 😶😳 I had a heart attack looking at these prices 😱😨😵

I’m debating whether to get them, to trade all available in the 4 fakes to my legit leaf green copy. Just afraid of the files being deleted after beating elite 4 (heard about it) or any type of deletion, or not being able to trade, to my legit copy from fakes. Any updates on them? I guess newer reproductions are better than the ones from more than couple years back?

Thank god I have all of these games but authentic ones. I don’t see a reason to buy repros if I already have the authentic ones.

Okay so if it says internal battery is dry, that means it’s a real copy? Because i have emerald that everything seems to show that it’s a real copy, except when I put it in my ds to try and get emerald Pokémon in Diamond it doesn’t work.

By any chance does anyone know if its possible to mix records from legitament Pokemon Ruby or Sapphire to a reproduction Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald to get an Eon Ticket from the official cartridge? XD
