A Surprisingly Practical EMT Tip

This video is short and too the point but I know every EMS provider has been in a situation similar to this. I recommend getting your gloves on as early as possible so once you are on scene you are ready to assist your patient.

Nah, we were told never to blow into our gloves. Sometimes we break them trying to get them on so fast XD

Place your hand near the running ac vents and it dries them in about 4 seconds.

Old fart comment. In the seventies and eighties the only gloves we carried were in the OB kit. We usually stopped by the local hospital in the morning and I would stick a pair in my back pocket.
I know it’s hard to fathom nowadays but that was normal procedure then. This was a paramedic rig in a metropolitan area, not some backwater area 🚑💨

Rubbing hand sanitizer in your hands before also works great

Ok. That glove looks awefully loose. If I wore gloves that loose, I would not be able to do more intricate tasks, the excess glove would be constantly in the way.

I haven’t wore gloves in a long ass time😆 even if I’m checking a sugar I don’t wear them.
