3D Scan and Print anything with just an iPhone!!!

Показать описание
With an iPhone you can 3D scan anything you want, recreating that object digitally. From there you can design around it, update it, or 3D print it. The possibilities are endless.

In this video the paid version Qlone 3D Scanner app was used to capture the object in 3D so that they could be 3D printed on the Ender 3 Pro.

The content of the video is informative but the thumbnail was misleading, I was expecting higher fidelity scan.

Video starts at 2:30 if you want to pass all the boring rubish he keeps repeating to padding out his videos

Thanks for this bro. I’m a beginner and still learning this stuff so it was a good entry level presentation.

Love to see the full process of scanning to printing but damn that was a low quality render

great video, so with phones and now other devices scanning is there a library of any of these pre scanned items ( ex airtags, headphones, air pods ... ) so that you do not have to go through the scan and fix ( somebody allready cleaned) . I know printables, thingverse etc.. have files parts but not the products .

I find photogrammetry very complicated to use because I’ve never done it before and don’t know how to use properly

Guess I’m going to need a massive piece of paper to 3d scam my truck 😅😂

Thumbnail was clickbait to thinking this would produce a quality scan. You took an STL image of somebody's work to make us think we would get to this result which is false advertisement. Sorry your final result was unusable in my eyes.

i want to be able to scan stuff not really so i can print it but so i can use it as a reference when going to make cases or mounts. i can usually just make a rough model that has everything i need to work around but being able to scan it would be so much faster an i can make rough models but when it comes to really complex shapes i struggle at best so this would make thing alot easier for me cause im more often making a case or brackets rather than trying to reprint a hole panel or something.

What would be the optimal way to design something that would rest upon what one has scanned? For your example, if one scanned the surface of the ear pod, what would best way to make a custom interface that would match lets say the actual ear anatomy of a user ?

A pity you didn’t show how to scan the AirPod

I have some broken ironwork pieces that will be amazing to replicate. I have zero 3d experience with blender / slicing and printing but do have and use polycam. Can you help step by step through blender / slicing to get the file for a printer and have any suggestions for a simple starter home 3d printer?
