I was VERY impressed with this budget wheel I bought on Amazon. It's sheet metal frame is solid. I really like the hand crank and foot petal combo, the sturdy construction and most of all THE PRICE!

This Budget pottery wheel has many look-alikes on Amazon. I think this is because multiple companies are buying the same product from one or a few factories. Then, they brand it with their unique trademark.

This is the cheapest wheel I've reviewed to date and I was very impressed which what you get for the $$$.

This is an ideal wheel for someone wanting to try their hand at throwing on the wheel without breaking the bank. I wish these had been around when I got started!

I've got the same wheel, these are made from electric scooter motors and speed controls. If you look inside you'll actually see an e-bike hand throttle! I made a stand for mine for height, and used the supplied screw feet to clamp it to the stand. I think they have improved the design - the splash pan on mine comes off and is in 2 pieces.

You wheel looks identical to mine, which I purchased March 2020. It has been perfect so far. I'm delighted the Chinese found a way to make affordable pottery wheels thru leveraging electric scooter tech. Until this development, the barrier seemed awfully high for starting such a hobby.

Hi just seen your video, I bought a similar wheel that I've used for over 6 months, apart from it being small and light it has been a great starting wheel, its thrown large and small pieces and has totally made my expectations, being small and light I fixed the base to stop it from moving.

I totally bought one. Some people bash it. Its no Shimp but I threw just fine one it. Its a little low but an egg create will lift it right up.

I kind of am falling in love with working in the wheel. I took ceramics as an elective at my university and they have really good tools, but if you’re not in a ceramics class you can’t use them. So I think I’m gonna pick up one of these, I just hope my professor is okay with me getting stuff fired in the kiln :p

Im ordering mine today. Really excited. I've promised myself I'll learn and actually become good at pottery in a year, I think I can do it! Someone else told me to try to find a used really expensive one. I think this will do fine to start with and I'll consider that later. Thanks and God bless

At least the pan can be removed if you want to, right? It may sound odd to you but I'm looking at one of these for cake decorating. You heard right! But that pan is going to have to be removed.
