ELDEN RING Performance Fixes

I made this video to tackle some of the community recommended fixes for the game on PC. At this time I would also advise moving the game to an NVME SSD and ideally a modern PCIE Gen 4 drive as I assume the game was coded with console NVME speeds in mind.
1. Win Graphics Options
2. Easy Anti Cheat Disable
3. CFG disable
4. Nvidia Ctrl Panel Unlimited Cache
5. Ryzen Balanced Power Mode
Use this for FPS uncap(need high refresh screen/borderless mode set ingame):

The game relies heavily on single thread performance source:
so try disabling HT on intel and SMT on AMD cpus

There are few other things you can try, such as disabling device root enumerator(turn back on after playing) in device manager, clearing directx shader cache in disk cleanup and if on nvme you can try to disable write caching on the disk from the policies interface. If on AMD GPU you can reset shader cache from inside Radeon Software. I would also recommend disabling HT on intel and SMT on AMD systems in the bios as the game is heavily reliant on single thread performance.

Thanks for this. The CFG fix in particular was something I was unaware of -- would disabling any of the other Exploit Protection functionality have any effect?

Please be aware that by renaming the games exe file, you're also going to want to manually add that renamed exe to your GPU driver as your GPU driver is actually looking for the exe name when applying their optimisations.
