I love this woman. Thank you for serving and representing not only your constituents, not only all Americans, but everyone’s best interests by holding those in power responsible for their actions. Not only does she get shit done but she doesn’t take money from PACs or lobbyists. If only we had more smart ethical and savvy people in public life. Respect!

This is why I’m going to school for HR and this is why I am also getting ready to go to school to be a lawyer! Need to put these companies accountable for their low ass wage pay!

I love how he pulls the HS job card, like they don't need to be able to survive, but they sure want you at work 40/wk without question. Corp america needs a rewrite.

I agree, this teller deserves a raise or promotion. But it's also ironic, the $6, 000 the bank teller pays in taxes would almost just about make up that shortfall. where does that tax money go again? oh right, Katie Porter's millionaire senator salary

Answer: Pay your employees a livable wage. It was that simple.

She doesn’t get enough credit. She may not be the most progressive one out there, but few can challenge her fact spitting.

No one in the USA should make 31 millions a year period. Inflation is to high. He doesn’t have a dangerous job and no way in hell does he work enough to earn that. He’s definitely not smart enough to be ready to answer questions. These kind of salaries have to stop

He could solve it easy, take a pay cut and pay you employees a livable wage.

I love how some people evade the problem/question by attacking the person for having an entry-level position, as if somehow that is a relevant point.

While I definitely agree the person needs to move up to improve their financial position, you should be able to afford living (with some percentage for savings) in the area you work regardless of your position in the company (obviously, housing costs seriously need to be dealt with). You'd think the average person would be in favor of companies paying their employees better, but instead there seems to be a lot of pushback from regular people who likely are having financial hardships themselves. Am I missing something in their logic, or is it just the typical "not my problem, get bent" kind of attitude?
