Thank you for this. I have a question. For the virtual cluster disk, can space be reclaimed to the storage when file has been backedup and deleted on the virtual disk.

This is great! Is setting up the iSCSI required? Can I do 2 node failover cluster without a shared storage?

Very good tutorial. I only need to clarify one thing. If i have 1 domain controller and 1 server connected to that domain, can i use the domain to make iscsi and do failover clustering? Thank you

That's a good introduction but do you have a solution for the Single Point of Failure of the storage server, If it goes down no data will be available for the cluster?

also is it because you add a second disk that one of it became a witness (quorum) disk?

Hi I just created the cluster with 2 nodes. 2 nodes already install the apps (the apps without built-in HA version) under generic application failover. My question is after I done the create the failover cluster and how client link to the apps and use the apps prevent downtime? hope you can assist thank you : )

You should have also kept a diagram and keep referring it for easy understanding. But a very good presentation.

I missed advanced options tab on in scsci initiator on second node [09.38].
Target is showing blank now.
I removed that target portal and tried adding new one.
Restarted my VM [second node] but no luck target is still showing blank.

There's a problem that could show up when adding role to a cluster (20:45). Folowing this video instruction I've got an Kerberos error 'Server name: Access is denied', so cluster was up but the role 'file server' has failed and was down. The solution is to grant full access of managing OU where cluster 'computer object' (CNO) was created to this very CNO. Only then it succeeds to create another account object for a role (file server in this example), that is VCO, to start it properly.
Except this one flaw, video was helpful, thanks a lot!
