if you count the syllables of CDP then you can remember that cdp timers are divisible by 3. for example, CDP has 3 syllables, the timers are 180 hold timer divided by 60 second update timer = 3. The same goes for LLDP, LLDP has 4 syllables in the acronym, and timers are 120 divided by 30 = 4! Easy way to remember hold & update timers for both protocols.

Took the exam yesterday. Made an 810. Disappointed to say the least. Signing up for it again for next month.

lldp run seems to be platform specific. Looking it up online, some sources state it turns on LLDP on all interfaces and others, including the book by Odom, say it does not.
Packet Tracer seems to use the former behavior. lldp run allows devices to find neighbors without turning it on per interface.
