An easier method, I think, is to use a formula: ( 28000 + 2000x )($15 - 1x ), If you FOIL this out you'll have the Quad equation needed to find the answers. The method shown in the video seems more complicated?

how do you decide which figure is x and which is y?

I thought that the ticket price was on the y-axis and the number of people were on the x-axis!
