How To Get Telesto Catalyst Solo Guide with a Warlock [Prestige Eater of Worlds]

BIG EDIT: 6-9-2020 - Still Works. If you want to try for a chance start NOW this week and do every week until you get it. Leviathan is being removed in the next fall DLC, it is unclear as of yet what what will happen to the catalyst.

Edit 10/3/19 - still working, can confirm catalyst will still drop at random, had it drop last night.

This is still working as of 6/7/19 - After various people complained it was not I just tested again, and yes it still works. Make sure you don't touch the ground on your way to the reactor room.

- IF YOU TOUCH THE FLOOR BEFORE YOU MAKE IT TO THE PLATFORMS IN THE REACTOR ROOM THE DOOR WILL NOT BE OPEN, IT IS ONLY OPEN BECAUSE IT NEVER SPAWNS AS THE GAME THINKS THE PLAYER HAS NOT MADE IT TO THIS ROOM YET.

- THE CATALYST IS A ONCE PER WEEK CHANCE PER CHARACTER TO OBTAIN. IF YOU OPEN THE CHEST ONCE THATS IT FOR THAT CHARACTER FOR THAT WEEK.

I decided to make this video because there are others showing how to do this on a Titan but could not find a Warlock video, also the videos I found were pretty dark in a specific area which makes this area pretty confusing so I tried to light it up a bit in this area.

Note: I use wings of sacred dawn for only a single part of this, they are not needed, you can use dawnblade + icarus dash for this part if you do not have them.

This is pretty easy to do once you go through and explore a couple times, the hardest part mainly is the dark room you have to get into. It's best to try this a few times until you have it down even if you screw up a few times, once you have the area done reset your progress and start again. If at any time during this you advance to the objective "escape the reactor" you will need to reset your progress and restart as the door will spawn. As noted, try to get through the dark area first so you understand what to do, then reset when you have a feel for the area.

Thanks. This took ages for me, but I finally made it with my warlock. The hard part was getting around that pipe in the "dark area" without dropping to floor. I also found out that the during the super warlock does not need to land on those poles at all. You can just super through that part directly to the next platform.

if you wanna make this easier for yourself, hold aim until it runs out and then re-apply it to float, eventually you will just stick in the air having lost all momentum and you will have all the time in the world to dash.

Man I watched Eso's video and just got completely lost when it came to the pitch black darkness on top of the door. He insisted in comments that you can see if you look closely, but you can't imo. Thank you so much for lighting up that entire area so we can actually see where we're supposed to go. great video.

I aged 5 years in 3 hours trying to do this.
Once inside the first glitch area i touched the floor so i just kept jumping back up to practice the jump before i reset. Finally got it. Had to take a couple walks to cool off while trying this though.

Where does the Icarus Dash come from? Is it a perk on a piece of gear or in the dawnblade class itself? Whats the weapon you have equipped? The animation on it is cool.

One question, the door if is open ( plataform jump), the final floor to take the chest is open. Becouse i made but the floor dont open :( or its parched yet?

How do you get it with multiple characters then, when going with friends? Just tried it, leader sat by chest, but it despawned before anyone had even loaded in.

At 2:10 how do you "reset your progress"? I triggered the escape but every time I leave and come back it's saved to there.

I do this with my hunter but on the plateforms instead, tether flying across the spaces :)

Today i start my 6th. try, is anybody here who want to try the character change method?? like we can do with Chests in Last Wish? I do the stuff with warlock, went to piston room, then you should be able to join, i make you leader, and change my char. to Hunter for open the box with it ;)
