Man back when Little Debbie snacks cost 25 cents I felt like Elon Musk walking into the gas station with a dollar.

As someone who grew up in the 90s, I could buy a quarter drink, a snack cake, a bag of chips, and possibly a 25-cent Slim Jim. All for a dollar.

These days, it's cheaper to buy a fountain drink at a gas station than it is to buy a bottle of any type of soda.

I cannot believe they went through this entire list without that clip from RoboCop where the guy says, “I’ll buy that for a dollar!” Lol

I remember seeing the expensive gas hitting a dollar for the first time and thinking, "Who is stupid enough to pay a dollar a gallon?" Whom indeed younger me, whom indeed.

Man, I miss the 90s and my N64. It was a great time that will never come back.😢

If we’re not gonna raise the minimum wage anytime soon we should absolutely make these items $1 again

Despite being too young to properly remember the 90's, I still hold fond memories of them.

I’m 30 and I can recall when a McDouble was a dollar, and when I could get a McDouble and McChicken and a Large Tea for 3.18 in PA. It wasn’t really all that long ago. The huge surge in prices are pretty recent.

This is just one more reason why the 90's were the best time in the whole of history. Everything was cheaper back then.

Hearing how much stuff you could get for a dollar back then makes me wish I was born in the 90s

I remember in 1998 I got gas at the cheapest price that I can remember was 69 cents a gallon.

Even though I wasn’t born in the 90’s, after watching this video I wish I grew up in the 90’s lol

When I was 16 I remember gas bottoming out at 71¢. I wish it would do that again because $3.59 is extortionate bullshit. I can barely afford just getting _to_ the ga station. You damn near need a big mortgage on your house to drive 3 blocks away. This shit is just simply crazy.

We may all end up driving electric cars, but I'm not giving up my dream car. I dreamed about owning one for 35 years and finally got one.

Another reason why the 90's was the #1 decade of most things

I remember when I was kid I would get a can of soda, 2 slim Jim’s, a Debbie cake and a little bag of chips for $2 😂

I remember the Mexican popsicle vendors that would push their little carts and ring the bell would let me have two Tamarind ice pops for a dollar, even though they cost 65 cents each. (One for me and one for my little brother). Good times!

I had no idea there were things you could be for a dollar in the 90s. That was great! I don't like how things cost a little more, today. Apples🍎🍏 and eggs🥚🍳 are good for you so buying a lot of them would surely keep you healthy. Speaking of eggs, four dozen a morning is a lot!
By the way, this video helped me compare one more thing about the animated and live action Beauty and the Beast. Also, I was born in 1999.

Buying a new vinyl record for $1, I could get new vinyl that were on sale from Tower Records for just $1, now most vinyl records cost upwards of $30! Thank a lot hipsters for causing prices for vinyl records to skyrocket!
