I've always said the 2000's had the best mix of modern technology with old school mindset. We had the technology we have today but we had 80's and 90's culture.

When older people said "it was a much simpler time then" when I was a kid. Now I understand.

So thankful to have been born in 1990 so I was a kid in the 90s and a teen in the 2000s. It was the perfect time to grow up. Watching 90s cartoons as a kid, playing classic video games as they came out, Pokémon when I was 8 years old, pre teen in early 2000s, first home computer at 10, MySpace in high school, not having a smart phone until I was around 20. Man it was awesome.

I was 9 in 2000, I saw the world change completely.
Technology has changed so much in 20 years, I sometimes feel like I'm living in a scifi movie, but without the aliens.

I could happily live a whole year using 2000s gadgets and stuff again tbh

Got an iPod for Christmas 2005, got a better one in 2011, and still use it pretty much every day still. Having a separate device for your music is awesome. I have over 10, 000 songs on mine and adding more regularly. The last model of the iPod Classic (the one right before the iPod Touch) is the best one.

Everything about the emo, punk, rock, and metal music, scene, and subculture are what I love and miss about the 2000s the most

I just can't believe that 2009 finished nearly 12 years ago time really does fly by.

I got back into playing minesweeper about last year, it's still so satisfying when you clear a complicated layout lol

I was born in '95. This year, I bought an iPod Shuffle to take on walks since I like how portable it is and I was sick of looking at my phone screen. I also bought some blank CDs to download music onto to listen on the radio while cleaning. This list is making me feel pretty old fashioned...

This made me feel old... I'm one of them who went from recording music on tape from radio to burning cd's (also for friends) to now having every song available with the push of a button... Still, making a playlist on, say USB for in the car, still feels satisfying.

I miss the 2000s so much, I could do time travel to show my future kids and see if they can discover their own adventures.

God I miss the 2000s I never thought I would until I reached adulthood

Napster/Lime Wire ultimately change the music industry. It dragged record companies and artists into the 21st century kicking and screaming 😱 😆

Some cars still include CD players. Burning CDs is a good skill to have in such cases. I still do it for my dad, so he can play music when he goes fishing in the mountains.

Oh my God, being born in the 90s I was able to experience most of this growing up. Man I feel so damn old
