I Am a home mechanic here, just bought a LAUNCH CRP 123, after watching your channel, finally got it working and thought good I now have a scanner for the life of this car, Update for one Year, that's ok I thought, once it works that's ok
But then found out if you don't subscribe to do the update in the next year, they send a signal to your scanner that stops it from working at all, until you pay for a new subscription you will then have a crap IMAGINE IF MICRO SOFT sent a signal to turn your computer off at the end of the first year because you did not pay the ransom.

My current Launch Scanner Tablet cannot change the Vin number in a used replacement satellite left module from a doner car on a BMW Z4, usual go to NCS Expert coding also fails to change the Vin number. Is the Launch X431 Pro Elite able to update modules with the cars Vin Number so the airbag light can be put out, it won't clear until the module gets the correct Vin and the system start time is coded in.
