How to make the most spongy MARSHMALLOWS with maple syrup

Make your own fresh marshmallows! These are so easy and can be flavored any way you like, you’ll never go back to the store-bought stuff.

***Forgot to include that marshmallows set at room temp in about 20 to 30 minutes***

FULL RECIPE:
- 1 cup of water divided into 2 halves
- 16g gelatin
- 1/2 cup (100g) sugar
- 80g corn syrup
- 1/2 cup (170ml) maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mixture of 1/2 corn starch & 1/2 powdered sugar
- a knob of unsalted butter (to grease the pan or container, doesn’t have to be oven-safe, because the marshmallows set at room temp)

RECETTE COMPLETE :
- 1 tasse d'eau divisée en 2 moitiés
- 16g de gélatine
- 1/2 tasse (100g) de sucre
- 80g de sirop de maïs
- 1/2 tasse (170ml) de sirop d'érable
- 1/4 c. à café de sel
- 1 c. à café d'extrait de vanille
- 1/4 de tasse d’un mélange de 1/2 fécule de maïs et 1/2 sucre en poudre
- 1 c. à café de beurre non salé (pour graisser le plat, important à noter que le plat n’ira pas au four, les guimauves seront prêts à température de la pièce dans 20 à 30 minutes)
