13:20 - I solved this issue by using the convert to new program which makes more sense so I no longer worry about this. I did not realize that I should have been doing that in the first place 🤦‍♂️

Bruh, thank you for this. I got into MPC's with the One and thought, "this is the standard for MPC's" going forward, but then I saw a video on the 2500 and realized like 80% of the features were on that as well, and now I see how Kanye and Dilla could make whole beats on it.

Now I get why these are still valuable today (in addition to the converters / dual Mono outputs for that fat "MPC sound").

I love my 5000!! Just being able to store and transfer sounds plus the synth is awesome just the learning curve was iffy but I figured it all out in time!

The piano strings and bass that come with the 5k are in chromatic already . To make your own key group programs you have to make your own chromatic pgm

You can extract that way…but if you’re already setting up regions, why wouldn’t you convert all of them at once? Or, if it’s only one piece you want, why wouldn’t you just trim with the q1 and q2 sliders and then extract?
