Level. Vigor to 40. And Endurance to 25. After that it's a matter of comfort, preference, and min/maxing for damage. Those are my personal minimums for comfort in HP, Equip load, and Stamina. I played through NJ3 before adding to Vigor and NJ6 before adding Endurance. The real champ here is Vigor as 40 is generally enough to survive some scary scenarios in end game, while still having more than enough levels to beat RadaBeast at or below RL150.

Best 3 tips, as someone who has beaten the games hardest ng+ several times.
1 Kill everything that isn’t a quest character, runes are important and the gear they drop is to.
2 Explore and beat every single area, cave? Beat it. Grave? Beat it. Little ruins with a scary enemy that one shot you? Beat it. Do that and you won’t miss any important or unimportant gear.
3 ignore the asshats that claim over leveling is a thing, yeah a lvl 500 character will beat anything easily but after all the pain to get to that point you’ve earned it.

varre’s quest is probably the best if you’re playing online. you’ll most likely invade in the lakes of liurnia and everyone you invade just kind of get what you’re trying to do, so they’ll most likely goof around with you. i’ve had 3 playthroughs where i invade someone’s world, mess around with them and then throw myself off a tall rock. maybe i feel this way cus in ds3, hosts are usually very hostile and attack invaders and more often than not just disconnect their wifi to send invaders home, making it extremely difficult to farm covenant items. varre’s quest is similar in that you have to invade in order to gain a standing in some cult and, idk, just feels kind of liberating, and i felt like venting

All this is accurate, but your heat map shows southern leurnia’s upper section, instead of the much more relevant under section. And the recommended levels are a bit high past volcano manor, but that’s more of a nitpick. Good tips

I was always underleveled, i beat malenia on level 90 and i completed first playthrough within level 100

Level 70 recommended for caelid. Meanwhile me and my friend foreheadded our way through the map at level 35
