The obligatory prayers are more delightful to Allah than the sunnah prayers, first get used to praying 5x times a day and perfect ur salah then worry about the sunnah prayers😊

I heard from him on one occasion that it's not compulsory to pray all sunnah rakats all the time and you don't need to make them up as it's a sunnah which the Prophet use to not pray all the time so it doesn't become compulsory for his ummah, he also gave the example of people from the subcontinent how they pray all fard & sunnah making it an ongoing ritual.

So there is 2 sunnah rakats before fajr, 4 rakats before dhuhr and 2 sunnah rakats after dhuhr. Then there is 2 sunnah rakats after maghrib and 2 sunnah rakats after Isha.

Why are you being diplomatic. Tell him straightforward that they are highly recommended but if he misses them, then he is not guilty or has not sinned. But very highly recommended

Assalamualaikum Sheik, is there a difference of opinion on the Sunnah Muakad prayers? I was told BEFORE: Fajar-2, Zohor-2, Asar-2; and 2 AFTER: Zohor, Mahgrib and Ishaan. Also, Ghairul Muakad: 2 before and after Zohor, 2 before Asar, 2 before Mahgrib and 2 before Ishaa. Also heard that if we offer the 4 Sunnah prayers before and after Zohor regularly, that it saves us from the hell fire. Are these accurate? Have you done a lecture on all the Sunnah prayers with regards to the compulsory prayers? جز اك الله خيرا
