the N word of Rock and roll, Nickleback. I think they take a little more flack then they deserve. I'd rather listen to Nickleback then most modern POP music.

They are totally in on the joke too. If you watch their "This Afternoon" music video, they have a skit in the beginning where they get kidnapped to play a show and shamed for being Nickelback. It's great. I've been a fan for years and have seen them live. No shame. :)

Everyone liked nickelback until the bandwagon came around and people started hiding their CD's and lying about being a fan. Yes nickelback came out while CDs were still popular.

I like Nickelback mainly because it’s a big part of my childhood next to Linkin park. And I also talked someone out of suicide by having her listen to lullaby by Nickelback and asked her what it means.

I was raised on Nickelback and I saw them live a few years ago and they have an amazing stage presence. It's so weird that so many people dislike them but their stadiums are huge and filled up.

No. It's an old and false meme that has lost it's edge compared to the real crappy pop artists of today. Most of their songs are amazing, and their lesser know songs from their earlier albums are pure Grunge/Hard Rock fun.

I grew up with Nickelback, and they were among my favorite bands along with Daughtry, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, and Sevendust for years. I have enjoyed a lot of Nickelback's songs such as Savin' Me, How You Remind Me, Far Away, If Everyone Cared, Hero, If Today Was Your Last Day, Gotta Be Somebody, Trying Not to Love You, Lullaby, Someday, and possibly some others that I can't think of right now. Chad Kroeger even did an AWESOME cover of Born on the Bayou with Chris Daughtry and Slash. Frankly, I don't understand why Nickelback gets so much hate. They have real talent, and some of their songs are very relatable too. From what I've heard though, half of their haters are just bandwagon haters going off of what they hear and trying to fit in with their buddies.

I didn't like them growing up but I’ve grown to appreciate them for what they are (in my ears/eyes): the modern Foreigner. They write harmless, middle-of-the-road rock hits that your uncle thinks are awesome.
I’m never going to listen to one of their albums. If they’re on the radio, I’m not stoked to hear it, but I’m not angry about it either.
But, they do have their share of haters, for sure.

I was at a dead show once and I was tripping with a bunch of friends and we were at the top of the stadium and looked out at the massive crowd and the thousands of beautiful people and I said man what other band could do this. Just create their own community that follows them all over the country. All these beautiful people sharing with each other. It's like one big beautiful family. GOD I LOVE NICKELBACK. lol. We all laughed and continued in to the show and had a wonderful time
