This is so great I have to keep revisiting it it is phenomenal. This was really helpful. I noticed that my left glute will fire, but my right will not. In fact, my right quad fires overtime when trying to do the movements. Should I just keep doing the motions to teach my brain to start accessing the glute?

I have 2 destroyed disks in the sacroiliac area and my butt above the coccyx smarts all the time -for 20+ years - with broken veins over the area. I go to osteopath 3 times a year to unknot me, but want to know a fairly safe exercise to try from this series to give me some muscle support for my weak back that won't cause the vertebrae to slide out of joint and render me bedbound - This has happened twice this year. Docs just send me to a hospital physio who suggested 'planks and push ups' and even joining an excercise class where I have seen them jumping up and down - I can't do any of these things, so he signed me off and said he can't help me - hence paying the osteopath privately. I am a slim 58 year old married woman in Cumbria (low carb diet since type 2 diabetes diagnosis 2013) who would like to help myself. I tried swimming thinking it would lift weight off my back, but it cricked my back and the public pool is fairly unheated, so I worried I was cramped with cold.

My ankle isn't flexible enough to move my knee forward of my ankle. Can't feel anything in glute.

That knee is going rather too far out .... standard advice is to not let knee go beyond your toes. 😒
