Strategies for Improving Child and Maternal Health for TANF and Low-Income Families

This Office of Family Assistance-sponsored webinar on March 27, 2019 highlighted initiatives designed to improve maternal and child health and reduce disparities in infant mortality between African American families and those of other races and ethnicities. These programs are designed to strengthen families by supporting parents and reducing parental stress to increase their parenting skills and empower them to make positive choices in their lives. Representatives from the Family Guidance Center of Alabama and MDRC participated.
