literally the other day i was thinking that a space station would make a amazing update, also being able to drive them in space would be sick

I’m most interested in the space station thing. I like making weapons out of available things in the game(I know, that really says a lot about me). I’m interested in what that has to offer.

i think the fox creature is looking at the screen with the x on it and it kinda reminds me of the (current) ending of astroneer
to me it seems like the fox creature is sad bc the x means that you (the player) are missing because of the ending and the little fox guy was your pet. and i also thought that the purple lines were just supporting the glass but i dont know.

also the people who make all the astronaut stuff are called "EXO Dynamics", just clearing things up.

This has to be some sort of Warp Gate that this ship is going into. the only major thing we could possibly get content-wise is new planets/biomes.

I think it's more complicated than a new pet and craftable space stations. I think this could be some story thing also I think the creature isn't a pet why would it be in front of the controls if it was merely a pet

Small fix to your spacestarion theory due to the fact that through the window of the room it more resembles the core of each planet and the satellite thus making this either a new planet or moon due to the perception of gravity

I am really hoping that January’s update is a biggie, as it’s the anniversary of Astroneer’s release on Nintendo Switch, right? I don’t think we will get to fly this big space ship shown at the ‘teaser trailer’ end part of their 2022 recap video. I love that space fox/cat critter. I think it might be sitting at the bridge of ESS Elysium. Didn’t that go out to try and find what happened to the ESS Triton? I am holding out hope of a new solar system and I am still clinging to the dream that water will be in the new biomes. Fingers crossed! 👽

I think that many it’s a spaceship to a new system ALL NEW STUFF and instead of snails it would be cats! So nice :)

Maybe a teleporter? Only thing that's missing from the game to complete automation is getting materials that are only available on one planet to another? Might be something to bridge this gap :)

Someone already talked about this in your comment section but this could be related to the ending this little guy could be possible for your character to disappearing or he could be looking for you
