You bought a mattress topper not a mattress...hope it's comfortable enough. It's meant to go on top of a mattress, not serve as a mattress LOL

Ken, make sure that the weight of the bed doesn't rest on the midbeams.... these aren't meant to hold weight. Midbeams are used to provide support for the bed and so that it doesn't move. You will absolutely bend those beams and could cause injury. I use to work as a builder at IKEA.

Those metal brackets you used for the bed bent 90 degrees use the step bit to drill the hole for the through axle and youl have your stand

I don't understand why the bed has to take up the whole middle of the van. Usually the bed folds up.

if your van has rear wheel drive and you need to stabilize the rear end form swaying or bottoming out install summo springs I have them on my Tacoma work fantastic and absolutely no maintenance
