Bob James and I recorded a duet version of his hit "Restoration" in July in Vilnius.
This song was played at a charity concert in support of Ukraine 🇺🇦 in Korea 🇰🇷
Then I had the idea to involve my friends great Ukrainian musician for this recording.
Please pray for Ukraine 🇺🇦

This version is absolutely beautiful...the concept of collaborating on this work via Zoom (or something similar) feels like a culmination of the point wise old Bob seemed to have been making back in 1987 on his Obsession LP: The future of music is digital in one way or another, whether you like it or not. Glad he progressively got back to his organic roots in the years following that record.

That said, I am still looking for a version of this song which I heard on Sirius XM many years ago...just Bob and a piano. And it was divine. If you're reading this and have it, post it I beg you
