2023 KTM 250 vs 350 vs 450 - Do you need ALL the power?

There has always been the question of do we need all the power that the modern 450s produce we got all 3 completely stock to test this theory out and the results will shock you!!

Cool vid. So many of these shoot-outs prove that the 350 lays down the fastest lap times and would be the best option to race. The MXA test also showed the same. But you don't see any being raced at the top level. Would be interesting to see Joel race the 350 next year.

The 350s win every single time. This has been done a half dozen times with totally different groups of riders, and 350 wins every shootout. Smooth is fast

Late to the party. I should be on a 350. Beyond glad I got a 450. Far too much power for a B-C grader like me, but all that grunt to ride lazy, and that power the few times you really need it, priceless. You do need to be fit to keep up with it though, and I walk around for days with arm pump.

I think in motorcross, the power matters. I think in bush, trail, enduro, there aint that much difference.

Let the slowest rider know that he is going into the corners too slow . He needs to go faster until he feels like his stomach is going up in his chest and lean the bike over and weight the outside foot peg to make it stick in the turns . Just a little tip to faster times .😎👍

Big fan of Joel’s. Would love to see him race the big 450s on a 350 or even a 300smoker, I think the lighter bike would suit his size and strength(SCI taken into consideration) F@$k it put him on a 125smoker. (If I was Joel’s sponsor I would make him try a rear hump seat, I think his SCI has affected him more then he realises)
