Joel asking for snacks and to use the bathroom is actually foreshadowing, since he doesn't usually have access to those.

fuck, the cut to the wide shot at the end just made this whole thing feel too real

You just can’t beat the secure feeling of having a roof under your feet.

"pretty good" can mean literally anything

It's crazy how much obvious pain and suffering we can avoid in small talk.

The miracle of Mike’s clean outfit is probably why he’s “doing fine”

This hits pretty damn close to home. All of my high school friends including me are turning 27 next year and its such a weird stage in life where you either have it all together or everythings falling apart. There is no in between. Some of us have healthy relationships and a good job, some of us are single and still studying and some are severely depressed and struggling to hold on. Dunno why exactly but this video made me tear up a little bit.

I can just imagine the inner monologues going on here.

Mike: "Man, he probably thinks my house looks like crap. He's got a nice car, so he must be doing pretty good."
Steve: "Wow, he's got his own house. He must be doing pretty good."

Mike “hey what’s your address I can stop by”
Joel “Black Jeep License plate GBL-6392”

Basically we’re insecure about meeting up with friends because we don’t feel like our lives are progressing. But the truth is, a lot of them feel the exact same way.

“But you feel like you got closure with everything you had?” “Nah… not really” this video is too relatable lmfao 💀

"Is this a shoe-off kind of place?" I don't know why, but I loved this line.

The amount of “yeahs” when saying good bye was accurate.

I feel personally attacked, but overall I’m doing pretty good

The real star of the skit is their gentleness. If we could all be gentlemen it could be a little more peaceful, even when times are tough as shit. I can learn from this.

I’m I the only one who sort of felt happy for Mike that it turns out his buddy wasn’t really judging him much? I mean, they both are doing pretty ok.

Little did we know, the setting is modern Toronto. Mike's house is worth $2 million. Joel's parking spot is worth $800k.

This is one of the most underrated skits on YouTube.
